The Saleth Mathachurch is probably the oldest churches, around 133 years old. The statue of Our Lady of Saleth Matha is present inside this exquisite church giving the devotees its blessings with a serene poise. The church delightfully exhibits the superb Tamil French architecture. The inside of the shrine merits taking a gander at since it is decorated with effortless statues of Our Lady of Saleth Matha over the special raised area alongside a statue of St. Joseph. Also, a French aristocrat named Madame Coile was the one to draw all the lovely paintings on the windows inside the church. A nine-day festival is praised in the church each year attracts worshippers from South India irrespective of their statement of faith, caste or religion.
